Officers of the IBGE Superintendence in Alagoas (SES-AL) met the Union of Alagoas Teachers (Sinpro) in the beginning of January. The meeting aimed at fostering articulations to enable the work of PeNSE 2024, especially in private schools.
Carla Rodrigues, supervisor of the survey, and officers Thomázio Correira and Karoline Rodrigues took part in the meeting. The IBGE representatives met Eduardo Vasconcelos, President of Sinpro-AL.
“The meeting was very productive. The survey is very important for the precise diagnosis of the reality of students, mainly to guide the development of public policies. The IBGE historically fulfills the role of a reliable institution and the Union fulfills the role of a partner in the dissemination for private entities, as well as a bridge for other institutions,” stated Vasconcelos.
The president of Sinpro highlighted the partnership as a way to establish not only the dissemination of the survey among teachers of private entities, but also to foster the articulation with other union entities like Sinep (Union of Private Education Establishments of Alagoas), which represents the private schools in the state.
