This Friday (23) at 10 AM, the IBGE will broadcast the release the results of the 2022 Census with the characteristics of the housing units, produced with information from the questionnaire of the universe (applied in every Brazilian housing unit). The event will take place at the Clara Nunes Theater (300 Graciosa Street) in downtown Diadema (SP), broadcast by Digital IBGE and reproduced on four social media for the first time ever (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok).
The event is supported by Diadema City Hall. Marcio Pochmann, President of the IBGE, Elizabeth Hypólito, Director of Surveys, Ivone Lopes Batista, Director of Geosciences, Flávia Vinhaes Santos, Executive-Director, Francisco Garrido, IBGE Superintendent in São Paulo, Geraldo Carneiro, Head of the Diadema Branch, and José de Filippi Junior, Diadema´s Mayor, will take part in the event.
The “2022 Population Census: Characteristics of the housing units - Results of the universe” brings information related to water supply, garbage destination, type of sewage disposal, existence of bathrooms and existence of piped water, allowing to characterize important elements of the housing units and life conditions of the population.
The data will be available for Brazil, Major Regions, states and municipalities. The information will also be disaggregated according to color or race and age groups of the population.
