Population estimates of states and municipalities - due dates and procedures
The IBGE, with reference to the release of population estimates of the 27 Federation Units and the 5,570 Municipalities, will still comply - as it has done in the last few years - with the due dates and administrative procedures established by Law no. 8.443/92 in its current reading, when in accordance with Complementary Law no. 143/2013. The IBGE also informs that all the claims relative to the population estimates of municipalities submited to the Institute will be replied.
