IBGE makes adjustments in its website and social media in compliance with rules for the electoral period
The web portal and the social media of the IBGE have been modified, in compliance with the pre-electoral and electoral period (Defeso Eleitoral, in Portuguese), which lasts between July 2 and October 2, or up to October 30, in case there is a second election round. Content and images that can be considered institutional publicity have been omitted or removed from the website.
The IBGE profiles on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube and TikTok) will remain active, because of the 2022 Census, but have been adjusted and adopted, according to legal requirements.
