The bilingual publication, both printed and in digital format, will be launched at 7:30 pm on October 27, 2022. It gathers information that allows the reader to have an overview of Brazilian reality in its multiple aspects.

As sources of information, information coming from a number of IBGE surveys stand out. As a complement, data produced by the Central Bank of Brazil, Regulation Agencies and Federal Ministries and some related institutes are also used.

The chapters, which presents tables and graphs, present information about the country, including data comparing Brazilian states. Besides, the work has articles of renowned professionals, technicians and researchers from Brazilian companies, universities and institutes. The 2022 edition is illustrated with works from the Governor Marcelo Déda Museum of Sergipean Folks, located in the municipality of Aracaju, in the state of Sergipe.
