The Official Gazette of Brazil publishes today (11.21.22) Provisional Measure (MP) 1,141 which provides for special rules for hiring personnel, for a defined period, in order to meet the temporary demand of exceptional public interest linked to the 2022 Population Census. The MP waives the need for a selection process and allows the inclusion of retirees from the UnionFederal, State, Federal District or Municipal social security systems. The activities to be performed by hired servants must be the daily tasks relevant to the census.  Retired and other applicants will be treated equally in the selection, hiring and execution of the contract.
