On August 11 at 10 AM, the IBGE will release the Continuous National Household Sample Survey: Other forms of work 2022.

Other forms of work comprise household tasks in the household or in a relative´s household; caretaking (children, seniors, sick people and people with special needs) in the household or in a non-resident relative´s household; production for self-consumption; and voluntary work.

The analytical commentaries include several indicators related to this theme, highlighting: implementation rate, which is the proportion of persons aged 14 years and over who accomplished any activity of the other forms of work (household tasks, for instance), their total, time spent in each form of work and the characterization of the population that accomplishes any of the other forms of work by sex, color or race, age group, level of schooling and status in the household.

Started in 2016, the time series of this theme was interrupted between 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resuming the data collection in 2022. In addition, the data released take into account the new re-weighting occurred in the survey in 2021.
