IBGE will release, on March 20, as part of the Experimental Statistics, the Semiannual Survey of Innovation 2022: Basic indicators
The IBGE will release, at 10 am on March 20, as part of the Experimental Statistics, the Semiannual Survey of Innovation 2022: Basic indicators, in Brazilian industrial companies with one hundred or more employed persons. Reference period: 2022.
Among the main statistics produced, the Survey will present the percentage of companies that innovated in products and business processes, that innovated in the national and international market, and that spent on Research and Development. The survey also investigates topics related to public support to innovation, cooperation and problems and obstacles to innovation.
Semiannual PINTEC is the result of a partnership between the IBGE, the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development – ABDI and the Department of Economics of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – IE/UFRJ.
These statistics are classified as experimental and they must be used with care, for they are still being tested and under evaluation.
