On May 3, the IBGE will release “Quilombola and Indigenous People, by sex and age, according to specific geographies: Results of the Universe”

The release will bring information related to the age structure and sex profile of the quilombola and indigenous populations, key data to deepen the knowledge about these two traditional groups, as well as to guide a number of public policies, like education, health and social assistance.

The data will be available for Brazil, Major Regions, States, Municipalities, Legal Amazon, Legal Amazon by Federation Unit, officially delimited Quilombola Territory, officially delimited Quilombola Territory by Federation Unit, Indigenous Land and Indigenous Land by Federation Unit. The results can be viewed on the IBGE Portal and in platforms like SIDRA, Census Overview and Interactive Geographic Platform (PGI), the last two through interactive maps as well.
