In an effort to make available to society, as fast as possible, information that can help the state of Rio Grande do Sul face the situation caused by floods, the IBGE will release, at 10 am on May 21, microdata of the National Address List for Statistical Purposes – CNEFE.

The data about each one of the 106 million plus addresses collected during the 2022 Population Census will be released with complete attribute, according to the pattern adopted by the IBGE, including, street, number and modifying code, complement, locality, zip code, type of housing unit visited, type of business, names of establishments, among others. The dictionary with data and the characterization of content and a document with guidelines for the use because of the change of release date.

Also, on June 14, 2024, complementary material will be released, with methodological notes and files with CNEFE data aggregated by zip code. On the occasion, the data will be accessible for download or visualization by means of IBGE platforms – on the 2022 population Census website and the Interactive Geographic platform (PGI).
