On September 13, IBGE will release the Continuous National Household Sample Survey: Tourism 2023


On September 13, at 10am, the IBGE will release the Continuous National Household Sample Survey: Tourism 2023. This publication brings statistics on flows of domestic tourists along different Brazilian regions and abroad. Characteristics of trips were raised, which, coupled with other characteristics obtained by the survey, like per capita household earnings, allow a consistent assessment of the domestic tourism demand. Among the main indicators, the highlights are: reason for traveling; number of overnight stays; type of accommodation chosen; mean of transportation used; major Federation Units of destination, among other approaches.
