IBGE will release, on December 12, 2022 Population Census: Characteristics of Housing Units: Preliminary sample results


The IBGE will release, at 10 am of December 12, the 2022 Population Census: Characteristics of Housing Units: Prliminary Sample Results. It will present information on the characteristics of housing units: tenure; material of outside walls; number of rooms, bedrooms; presence of a washing machine and access to Internet in the housing unit. 

The data will be available for Brazil, Major Regions, States, Municipalities and other geographies departing from Municipalities. The results will be availabe on the IBGE website and on platforms such as SIDRA and the Census Overview, and in the latter they can be seen in interactive maps.

The information will also be disaggregated by color or race and age group of the population.
