IBGE will release, on April 29, "Bordering Municipalities, 2024 version" and "Municipalities located in the Northern Hemisphere, 2024 version"


The IBGE will release, at 10 am on April 29, the product “Bordering Municipalities," which presents a list of the municipalities that  share a geographic border with other municipalities, that is, neighboring contiguous or adjoining municipalities, as well as the product "Municipalities located in the Northern Hemisphere," which presents the 44 municipalities located in the Brazilian section of the Northern Hemisphere, both lists obtained according to the 2024 Digital Municipal Mesh.

These products aim at fulfilling the needs of different users interested in the production of geoscientific information.
